Verse of the Day November 17

Our current worship series at BBC is called, “Be Engaged: Share Your Heart, Do Your Part.” We’ll be hearing about five ways to be engaged that will help you grow spiritually and feel more connected to other people and to Christ and the church. In addition to worship, service, and sharing in community, A fourth way of being engaged is our giving to the Lord’s work in and through BBC. We give out of our gratitude and thanks to God for all the Lord’s blessings in our life.

Today’s reading is Deuteronomy 15:1-11, Live with Open Hands.

The Verse of the Day is Deuteronomy 15:11,

“Since there will never cease to be some in need on the earth, I therefore command you, “Open your hand to the poor and needy neighbor in your land.”
