Verse of the Day March 5

This week Pastor Joe selected verses as we begin to prepare for Lent which begins today, Ash Wednesday, March 5.

Today’s reading is Deuteronomy 26:1-11, “Strangers and Pilgrims.”

The Verse of the Day is Deuteronomy 26:9-10,

He brought us to this place and gave us this land, a land flowing with milk and honey; and now I bring the first fruits of the soil that you, Lord, have given me.” Place the basket before the Lord your God and bow down before him.
