Rejoicing in Our Present: Administrative Staff

As we have been going through the weeks, introducing you to aspects of our past, present and future at Brewster Baptist Church, we hope you have been learning new things about the life of BBC.

This week, we want to introduce the people who impact a lot of what you see and do at BBC, but maybe you haven’t met yet – our five-person administrative staff.

BBC has two part-time administrative assistants in the front office, providing support to our pastors, ministry leaders, congregation, and visitors. Annie and Lisa work as a team to perform a variety of skilled office tasks. They are the friendly go-to staff who answer phones, maintain the church calendar, put together the bulletins and newsletters, and perform countless additional administrative tasks. Typically, Annie is in the office from the morning through the early afternoon, and Lisa arrives in the late morning and stays through the late afternoon. They are the first people you see when you come to the office window and are there to help you.

Annie Scola Wisnesky

Annie and her family are grateful to live on the Cape, in their dream home in East Dennis. Her two kids, Gigi (13) and Sam (9), attend Trinity Christian Academy, and have participated in theater, volleyball, basketball, tennis, swimming and skipping for Brewster Bayside Skippers. Their family also includes two adorable 2-year-old lab pups, Loki and Sylvie.

They have been attending BBC for about five years – during that time, Annie has had the opportunity to participate in Women’s Bible Study, Mom2Mom, VBS, and choir, and she is so thankful for the incredible people in this church community. When she’s not with her kids or at church, Annie loves to attend local theater productions, meet friends for coffee, and spend time at the beach.

She has been an administrative assistant in the BBC office since March of 2023, and her favorite aspect of her workday is getting to talk with the wonderful people who call, visit, meet, minister in, and are connected to, our church.

Lisa Lorraine Radtke and Annie Scola Wisnesky

Lisa Lorraine Radtke

Lisa grew up in Orleans and moved back to the Cape two years ago. She loves getting to know people at BBC and feels blessed to have found a church home. While living in Virginia and Vermont, she worked professionally in finance and education. She especially enjoyed teaching Special Education in a culturally diverse school and celebrating her students’ progress.

Before joining the staff of BBC last fall, Lisa taught at The Latham School and worked with students developing skills needed for their adult lives. Lisa and her husband, Art, have two grown children and enjoy outdoor activities including sailing, Nordic skiing, hiking, and cycling. Currently, she volunteers as a Mentor in the Adult Sailing Program at Orleans Yacht Club where she grew up learning to sail. She enjoys attending Women’s Bible Studies and volunteering at the Bicentennial Movie Nights.

BBC also has one full-time person, Sharon, and two part-time people, Dan and Rebekah who work with our communication and online presence.

Sharon works on such things as our social media and church app; sending out our email newsletter, The Buzz, twice a week; and putting together the monthly Beacon. She also works with Tom Swaida to put together the daily devotion videos, and with Pastor Joe and Shelby Greemore to put together the slide presentations for the weekly worship services, memorial services, and other special events.

Dan works a couple of days a week maintaining our online church calendar, profiles in our church management system, and our church app, and Rebekah works remotely helping to create the graphics for our daily devotions and verses of the day.

Dan Jones and Sharon Kautz

Sharon Kautz

Sharon grew up here at Brewster Baptist Church and continues to attend with her husband, Tim, and children, Abigail (16), Charlie (14), Samantha (10) and Narola (8), who are all active in various ministries here at BBC.

Outside of church, Sharon is actively driving her kids to all their sporting events and school activities or enjoying time at the beach. Sharon is also a member of the Brewster PTO, the Stony Brook playground committee, and helps with graphics and videos for Brewster Bayside Skippers.

At BBC, Sharon also serves as Student Core Ministry Leader, Bicentennial Team Co-leader and member of the Mission and Outreach Core Ministry.

Dan Jones

Dan began attending BBC with his parents, Steve and Diane Jones, and his brother, Nathan, in the early 2000s, when Dan was in middle school. He was an active member of our Student Ministry, Young Adult Ministry “B.L.A.S.T.” and volunteered in the media booth.

In addition to working at BBC, Dan works full-time at Trader Joe’s in Hyannis, and enjoys seeing his BBC friends when there. During his free time, Dan enjoys watching movies, playing video games and spending time with family and friends.

Rebekah Pranga

Rebekah Pranga, Pastor David and Christy’s oldest daughter, began attending BBC with her family almost ten years ago.

During middle school and high school, she was an active member of our Student Ministry and ran on the Nauset Cross Country and Track and Field Teams. In May, Rebekah graduated from Colby College in Waterville, ME. Rebekah interned in the BBC office during the summers of 2022 and 2023, and has continued to help with the daily graphics while away at school. At the end of July, Rebekah will be heading to Japan for a year abroad teaching English. Please join us in praying for Rebekah during this incredible opportunity.
