How Are You Rich?

If we’re rich, the first thing to consider is our attitude. We’re not to be haughty, arrogant, proud, or entitled. Secondly, how should we use our riches? “to do good, to be rich in good works, generous, and ready to share.” Third, 1 Timothy 6.17-19 speaks to the consequences of how we use our riches when we use them to do good and share them freely: “thus storing up for themselves the treasure of a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of the life that really is life.”
