Opening Prayer 4/18

Dear Lord, God of heaven, who guides us by day and watches over us by night.

In your  presence we find joy and safety.

Thank you Lord for this time to worship you and sing our praises and offer our prayers.

You are a holy and righteous God and we lift up your name.

[powerpress]You are worthy God of our love and devotion, worthy to have the hearts of your people.

Be with us and speak to us through your spirit.

May our time together here be honoring and joyful to you.

We anticipate your movement in this sanctuary, may the power of your spirit be poured out in us, strengthening and deepening our faith in the one we have come to praise, our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.  Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.  And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.  Amen.
