Congregational Prayer 4/18

Dear Lord, we thank you for being with us through another week. The days go by so fast and yet so much can happen.

Lord, I thank you for each person here this morning and ask you to hear their hearts prayer, bless them and their families.

[powerpress]Some of us may have come to church tired or overwhelmed from the week. Whatever we have on our minds that we brought with us this morning, we give to you, whatever worries or anxieties, whatever problems that we can’t solve.

Help us to be still on the inside and release our cares to you.

We pray for the folks on our prayer sheet, for those we’ve mentioned by name and those we carry in our hearts.

We pray for those on our prayer sheet who are deployed, please keep them safe.

We pray for the unrest in the world and ask you to intervene and bring a way for peace.

We pray for this church and for all the ministries that happen here and for all ways and people who serve you in this place.

And Lord, we thank you for the answers to prayers that we’ve had this week, for your presence in our lives, for the encouragement in your word and the comfort and fellowship of our church family.

Thank you for watching over us and for listening to our prayers.

In Jesus name.  Amen.
