This week, we continue our new worship series, “Anchored in the Unchanging Christ: A Letter to the Hebrews.” Our pastors will be using the daily devotions throughout this series to dig deeper into the Book of Hebrews. Pastor Doug focused this week on Hebrews 6:13-20, showing that Hope is a sure and steadfast anchor that we can depend on.

Today’s reading is Hebrews 7:4-6, The Blessing of Tithing

The Verse of the Day is Hebrews 7:5,

And those descendants of Levi who receive the priestly office have a commandment in the law to collect tithes from the people, that is, from their kindred, though these also are descended from Abraham.
