Verse of the Day November 13

Our current worship series at BBC is called, “Be Engaged: Share Your Heart, Do Your Part.” We’ll be hearing about five ways to be engaged that will help you grow spiritually and feel more connected to other people and to Christ and the church.

In addition to worship, service, and sharing in community, a fourth way of being engaged is our giving to the Lord’s work in and through BBC. We give out of our gratitude and thanks to God for all the Lord’s blessings in our life.

Today’s reading is 2 Corinthians 9:1-9, God Loves a Cheerful Giver.

The Verses of the Day is 2 Corinthians 9:6-7,

“The point is this: the one who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
