Verse of the Day November 14

Our current worship series at BBC is called, “Be Engaged: Share Your Heart, Do Your Part.” We’ll be hearing about five ways to be engaged that will help you grow spiritually and feel more connected to other people and to Christ and the church. In addition to worship, service, and sharing in community, A fourth way of being engaged is our giving to the Lord’s work in and through BBC. We give out of our gratitude and thanks to God for all the Lord’s blessings in our life.

Today’s reading is 2 Corinthians 8:1-7 Encouragement to be Generous.

The Verse of the Day is 2 Corinthians 8:2,

“for during a severe ordeal of affliction, their abundant joy and their extreme poverty have overflowed in a wealth of generosity on their part.”
