Verse of the Day October 6

This week, we begin a new worship series, “Jesus’ Upside Down Kingdom: Rethinking How Life Is Supposed to Work.” Pastor Doug shared about the Parable of the Generous Landowner and will focus this week’s devotions on different aspects of generosity.

Today’s reading is Matthew 6:1-4, Give Without Seeking Recognition

The Verse of the Day is Matthew 6:3-4,

But when you give alms, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4 so that your alms may be done in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
