Verse of the Day November 22
Our current worship series at BBC is called, “Be Engaged: Share Your Heart, Do Your Part.” We’ll be hearing about five ways to be engaged that will help you grow spiritually and feel more connected to other people and to Christ and the church. In addition to worship, service, and sharing in community, A fourth way of being engaged is our giving to the Lord’s work in and through BBC. We give out of our gratitude and thanks to God for all the Lord’s blessings in our life.
Today’s reading is The Gospel of Luke 14:7-14, Invite Those Who Can’t Reciprocate.
The Verse of the Day is The Gospel of Luke 14:13-14,
“But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, and the blind. And you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you, for you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.”
