Verse of the Day May 6

This week, we continue our new worship series, “Anchored in the Unchanging Christ: A Letter to the Hebrews.” Pastor David focused this week on Hebrews 2 about staying focused on the word of God.  Our pastors will be using the daily devotions throughout this series to dig deeper into the Book of Hebrews.

Today’s reading is Hebrews 2:5-9, Jesus Reigns            

The Verse of the Day is Hebrews 2:8,

and put everything under their feet.”In putting everything under them, God left nothing that is not subject to them. Yet at present we do not see everything subject to them.
