Verse of the Day March 3

During February and March Brewster Baptist Church will be devoting eight weeks to examining the question, Who is Jesus and What Does He Offer? by looking at what Jesus says about himself in the Gospel of John and in the book of Revelation.

Each week we’ll focus on one of the “I Am” sayings of Jesus. Jesus uses a number of powerful images to describe himself and what he offers to people.

This week we will be focusing on “I Am the Good Shepherd” from John 10:11-18 and a few Old Testament passages.

Today’s reading is Jeremiah 23:1-6, God Will Raise Up Good Shepherds.

The Verse of the Day is Jeremiah 23:4,

I will raise up shepherds over them who will shepherd them, and they shall not fear any longer, or be dismayed, nor shall any be missing, says the LORD.
