Verse of the Day March 11

As we continue through March, Brewster Baptist Church is exploring the second half of our series, Who is Jesus and What Does He Offer? by looking at what Jesus says about himself in the Gospel of John and in the book of Revelation.

Each week we’ll focus on one of the “I Am” sayings of Jesus. Jesus uses a number of powerful images to describe himself and what he offers to people.

This week we will be focusing on “I Am the Resurrection and the Life” from John 11 and the story of Lazarus.

Today’s reading is Romans 8:1-11, The Life-Giving Spirit.

The Verse of the Day is Romans 8:11,

If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will give life to your mortal bodies also through his Spirit that dwells in you.
