Verse of the Day February 8

During February and March Brewster Baptist Church will be devoting eight weeks to examining the question, Who is Jesus and What Does He Offer? by looking at what Jesus says about himself in the Gospel of John and in the book of Revelation.

Each week we’ll focus on one of the “I Am” sayings of Jesus. Jesus uses a number of powerful images to describe himself and what he offers to people. This week will be focusing on “I Am the Bread of Life” and the 6th Chapter of John.

Today’s reading is The Gospel of John 6:35-51, I Am the Bread of Life.

Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”
