Verse of the Day February 17

During February and March Brewster Baptist Church will be devoting eight weeks to examining the question, Who is Jesus and What Does He Offer? by looking at what Jesus says about himself in the Gospel of John and in the book of Revelation.

Each week we’ll focus on one of the “I Am” sayings of Jesus. Jesus uses a number of powerful images to describe himself and what he offers to people.

This week we will be focusing on “I Am the Light of the World” from Genesis, John, and 1 John.

Today’s reading is 1 John 1:5-10, Walk in the Light.

The Verse of the Day is 1 John 1:7,

But if we walk in the light as he himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.
