Verse of the Day February 16

During February and March Brewster Baptist Church will be devoting eight weeks to examining the question, Who is Jesus and What Does He Offer? by looking at what Jesus says about himself in the Gospel of John and in the book of Revelation.

Each week we’ll focus on one of the “I Am” sayings of Jesus. Jesus uses a number of powerful images to describe himself and what he offers to people.

This week we will be focusing on “I Am the Light of the World” from Genesis, John, and 1 John.

Today’s reading is The Gospel of John 9:1-12, I am the Light of the World.

The Verse of the Day is The Gospel of John 9:5,

As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”
