Verse of the Day December 30

This week we are preparing to start our journey to read the Bible together in a year. Beginning on January 1, there will be a reading from the Old Testament, the Wisdom Literature and the New Testament. Each day the daily devotion will choose a reading from part of that day’s readings.

Today’s reading is 2 Chronicles 1:7-13, Asking God for Wisdom.

The Verse of the Day is 2 Chronicles 1:10,

“Give me now wisdom and knowledge to go out and come in before this people, for who can rule this great people of yours?
