Verse of the Day December 29

Our worship series this month is Fear Not, and the underlying idea is when we’re facing situations that might cause us to feel fearful or afraid, we can choose a different response.

We can choose to focus on hope, peace, joy, love, and the good news of great joy of Christ’s birth and all it represents.

We continue this week with choosing Love over Fear.

Today’s reading is Isaiah 9:1-7, A Child Has Been Born for Us.

The Verse of the Day is Isaiah 9:6,

For a child has been born for us, a son given to us; authority rests upon his shoulders; and he is named Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
