Verse of the Day December 14

This week we continue our Advent series “Listening to Prophetic Voices” with Pastor Doug sharing from the prophet Isaiah. For people who are fearful and despairing, Isaiah encourages us with joyful words of salvation and strength that lead us to sing and want to share with others who God is and all God has done.

Today’s reading is Habakkuk 2:1-5, The Proud and the Righteous.

The Verse of the Day is Habakkuk 2:4,

Look at the proud! Their spirit is not right in them, but the righteous live by their faith.
