Verse of the Day December 12

This week we continue our Advent series “Listening to Prophetic Voices” with Pastor Doug will be sharing from the prophet Isaiah. For people who are fearful and despairing, Isaiah encourages us with joyful words of salvation and strength that lead us to sing and want to share with others who God is and all God has done.

Today’s reading is Philippians 3:12-16, Straining Forward to What Lies Ahead.

The Verses of the Day are Philippians 3:13-14,

Beloved, I do not consider that I have made it my own; but this one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the heavenly call of God in Christ Jesus.
