This week, we resume our new worship series, “Anchored in the Unchanging Christ: A Letter to the Hebrews.” Our pastors will be using the daily devotions throughout this series to dig deeper into the Book of Hebrews. Pastor Doug focused this week on Hebrews 12:14-29, encouraging us to “Pursue Peace and Holiness.” 

Today’s reading is Hebrews 12:28-29, An Unshakable Kingdom

The Verse of the Day is Hebrews 12:28-29,

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us give thanks, by which we offer to God an acceptable worship with reverence and awe; for indeed our God is a consuming fire.
