Verse of the Day April 7

As we go through Holy Week, we will use our devotions each day to follow Jesus’ journey toward the cross and triumphant resurrection!

Today’s reading is Matthew 27:1-56, Jesus’ Crucifixion.

The Verses of the Day are Matthew 27:46-47,

And about three o’clock Jesus cried with a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” that is, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”
