This week we begin a new series, “Teach Us to Pray: A Six-week Exploration of The Lord’s Prayer.”

Pastor Doug starts with the focus on “Father, Hallowed Be Thy Name” from Luke11:2 and the readings this week will look at exalting the name of God from examples throughout the Bible.

Today’s reading is Proverbs 30:7-9, Don’t Let Me Profane the Name of the Lord.

The Verses of the Day are Proverbs 30:8-9,

Remove far from me falsehood and lying; give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with the food that I need, or I shall be full, and deny you, and say, “Who is the Lord?” or I shall be poor, and steal, and profane the name of my God.
