The Master Carpenter and the Apprentice

In his message, “The Master Carpenter and the Apprentice,” Pastor Nate Ryan explores John 1:35–51 and what it truly means to become a disciple of Jesus Christ. Just as an apprentice learns by spending time with a master carpenter, Christian discipleship is more than acquiring biblical knowledge—it’s a lifelong relationship with Jesus that transforms how we think, love, and live. Through the calling of Jesus’ first disciples, we discover four stages of spiritual growth: Seekers, New Believers, Growing Disciples, and Mature Disciples. As Brewster Baptist Church looks toward the next generation, we’re challenged to become a community where everyone can grow closer to Jesus, become more like Him, and help others discover the joy of following Him.
