The Loving Father
In his message, “The Loving Father,” Pastor David Pranga concludes the series “Jesus’ Upside-Down Kingdom” by exploring Jesus’ Parable of the Prodigal Son in Luke 15:1–2, 11–32. While the younger son demands, “Give me what I want,” and the older son insists, “Give me what I deserve,” their loving father offers something far greater: “I want you.” Through this powerful story of two sons who are lost in different ways, Jesus reveals a Heavenly Father whose grace, forgiveness, and unconditional love reach both the rebellious and the self-righteous. Whether we’ve wandered far from God or lost the joy of our relationship with Him, the Father’s invitation remains the same: come home and experience His love.
