The Joy of the Lord is Our Strength

Think how joyful it would be to live in a community or a nation where God was revered, where we didn’t worship idols of any kind, where God’s name was treated with respect, where everyone took a “snow day” every week to rest, reflect, worship, and enjoy time with important people. Where there was no murder, stealing, unfaithfulness, lying, or coveting; imagine what that would be like? While it might mean major repentance and life change for some people; that would be a community many of us would sign up to live in.
