Message Preview – Aunt Betty and Uncle Zach

At Brewster Baptist Church, the Advent season will focus on the theme of family as we look at Jesus’ family tree, his Aunt Elizabeth and Uncle Zechariah, his cousin John, Mary and Joseph his parents, and even the New Arrival and the birth of Jesus himself.

This week will hear the story of Aunt Betty and Uncle Zach from Luke 1:5-25.

In the days of King Herod of Judea, there was a priest named Zechariah, who belonged to the priestly order of Abijah. His wife was a descendant of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth. Both of them were righteous before God, living blamelessly according to all the commandments and regulations of the Lord.
