Life Is A Ball Game

Hall of Fame manager, Leo Durocher, said, “Baseball is like church. Many attend, few understand.” Durocher was known as Leo the Lip for his frank and outspoken speech, but he was correct that the game of baseball like church is deeper, more textured, and has a lot more going on than initially meets the eye. When it comes to baseball, church, music, or any other topic, we may think we know or understand a lot, until we’re with someone who understands so much more than we do.
