Evening Vespers ~ Reflect & Connect ~

Wednesdays 6:00-7:00pm, starting July 1st

Outside on the grass near the meditation garden (weather permitting!)

In case of rain, the service will take place in the Fellowship Hall

Psalm 141:1-2

O LORD, I call to you; come quickly to me. Hear my voice when I call to you.
May my prayer be set before you like incense; may the lifting up of my hands be like the evening sacrifice.

The term “Vespers” has a long and rich history in the Christian tradition referring to a time of evening prayer and thanksgiving. Jointly led by Doreen Mayer, Sherley-Ann Belleus, Nate Ryan, and Jennie Segal, Evening Vespers at BBC will be an opportunity for further reflection on Sunday’s message, connecting with friends old and new, sharing communion, and worshiping God together (all in a safe and socially distanced way!).

Reflect: We will continue to deepen our understanding, discussion, and application of Sunday’s scriptures and sermon.

Connect: With God and with His people. As we happily resume in-person worship services, we look forward to catching up with members of our BBC family whom we have dearly missed.

Our service will be held outside on the grass near the meditation garden, so bring a chair or a blanket to sit on, and maybe a sweatshirt and some bug spray. If rain pushes us inside, we’ll meet in the Fellowship Hall.
