Commitment to Our Community
Brewster Baptist is committed to serving the community around us. One of the ways that we do this is by making our church building available for organizations in the community that need space for their meetings and events.
The following are just some of the ways that our church building is used throughout the year:
- The Town of Brewster uses our fellowship hall for town elections
- Every Monday night we have one of the largest AA meetings on Cape Cod
- We are the chartering sponsor for a Boy Scout troop which meets at our church, as do Daisy and Brownie Troops
- Each November we host a Thank You Dinner for all the Brewster business men and women that have made a positive contribution to our community
- Each May we host the Nauset High School Senior Sports Awards
- Every June we host the Welcome Dinner for the start of the Brewster Whitecaps baseball season
- The Chatham Chorale, Brewster Town Band, and the Cape Symphony Orchestra use our sanctuary for performances throughout the year
- The American Red Cross uses our fellowship hall for blood drives
