Verse of the day

“Where there is no guidance, a nation falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety.”

“Be still and know that I am God! I am exalted among the nations, I am exalted in the earth.”

“Take my yoke upon you and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven.”

“Blessed are the merciful, for they will receive mercy.”

“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”

“Keep awake and pray that you may not come into the time of trial; the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

“Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the streams of life.”

“Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to do it.”
