Advent Worship Services 2022
When people celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas it’s time when many of us spend time with family and remember and think about our family members who have blessed us and are now no longer with us.

Our Advent worship services will focus on the theme of family as we look at Jesus’ family tree, his Aunt Elizabeth and Uncle Zechariah, his cousin John, Mary and Joseph his parents, and even the New Arrival and the birth of Jesus himself.
On December 4, our morning worship services at 8:30 and 10:00 am will include a guest, the Rev. Dennis Johnson, an author, retired American Baptist pastor, and the former Parliamentarian for the American Baptist denomination for many years.
His most recent book, Remembering That it Happened Once, is a compilation of poetry related to Christmas. Worship that morning will include poetry, songs, and communion.
At 2:00 pm on December 4th, there will be a Blue Christmas service that aims to comfort and help all those feeling the pain of grief, loneliness, and loss during the holidays.
On Tuesday, December 13th at 6:00 pm, all women are invited to the Women’s Christmas Communion service which is a time to be still amid the busyness of these days, to listen, reflect, worship, and share in the Lord’s Supper.
There will be Christmas Eve services on Friday, December 23 at 6:00 pm, and on Saturday, December 24 at 4:00, 6:00 and 11:00 pm.
On Christmas Day and New Year’s Day there will be one united service at 10:00 am so we end the old year and begin the new one united as God’s people.
