Our Guest Preacher this morning is Rev. Steve Youd
Steve is the former Director of Mission & Stewardship for the American Baptist Churches of Massachusetts.
Prior to his retirement in 2014, Steve also served as Senior Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Hanson, Massachusetts, and, was the “Building Pastor” of the Covenant Community Church in Sandwich. Some might even remember him from his earlier tenure as State Director of Youth & Young Adult Ministries for the American Baptist Churches of Massachusetts back in the 80’s.
Steve holds academic degrees from both Gordon and Yale – – the latter awarding him with the prestigious “Mersick Preaching Award.”
He and his wife, Debbie, live on the waterfront on the Cape Cod Canal, where the last 2 summers he has served as a historical commentator aboard the cruise ship, “Viking” – – which provides the tours of the Cape Cod Canal.
