Small Groups at Brewster Baptist

Some of the best friendships at BBC start in a small group.

Small groups are smaller gatherings — usually 8 to 12 people — where you can share what’s actually going on in your life, build real friendships, and be known by people who genuinely care. Whether you’ve been following Jesus for decades or you’re just starting to explore, there’s a place for you.

What happens in a small group?

Every group has its own personality, but most weeks you can expect:

Conversation — open, honest, no pressure to have the right answers

Scripture — reading and discussing the Bible together in plain language

Prayer — praying for each other, and being prayed for

Connection — showing up for one another in the everyday stuff of life

Where and when do small groups meet?

Groups meet weekly in homes, online, and occasionally in public spaces around Brewster. There are groups for women, groups for men, and mixed groups, and several meet both in-person and online, so you can join from wherever you are.

You don’t need to have it all together to join a small group. These are communities built around honesty — where people bring their real selves, including the messy parts, and find support without judgment.

As Jesus said:

“Where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them.” (Matthew 18:20)
