Verse of the Day October 27

This week, we began a new series, “We Will Tell the Coming Generation,” based on Psalm 78.  Pastor Doug’s devotions this week will draw on stories throughout the Bible, featuring people sharing their faith stories.

Today’s reading is Romans 15:4-6, What Was Written in Former Days

The Verse of the Day is Romans 15:4,

For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, so that by steadfastness and by the encouragement of the scriptures we might have hope.
