Verse of the Day October 2

This week, we continue worship series, “Jesus’ Upside Down Kingdom: Rethinking How Life Is Supposed to Work.” Pastor Doug shared in worship about the Parable of the Wheat and the Weeds and how Jesus says they need to grow together.  The devotions this week will continue that theme of growth.

Today’s reading is Galatians 5:16-26, What Kingdom Growth Looks Like

The Verse of the Day is Galatians 5:22-23,

By contrast, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against such things.
