This week, we resume our new worship series, “Anchored in the Unchanging Christ: A Letter to the Hebrews.” Our pastors will be using the daily devotions throughout this series to dig deeper into the Book of Hebrews. Pastor Doug focused this week on Hebrews 12:14-29, encouraging us to “Pursue Peace and Holiness.” 

Today’s reading is Hebrews 12:22-24, The Blood that Speaks a Better Word

The Verse of the Day is Hebrews 12:24,

and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.
