Verse of the Day August 13

This week, we resume our new worship series, “Anchored in the Unchanging Christ: A Letter to the Hebrews.” Our pastors will be using the daily devotions throughout this series to dig deeper into the Book of Hebrews. Pastor Doug focused this week on Hebrews 12:1-13, reminding everyone to “Run Your Race”. 

Today’s reading is Hebrews 12:7-8, Endure Trials

The Verse of the Day is Hebrews 12:7-8,

Endure trials for the sake of discipline. God is treating you as children; for what child is there whom a parent does not discipline? If you do not have that discipline in which all children share, then you are illegitimate and not his children.
