Greetings from Omaha. My name is Greg Mamula and I serve as the Executive Minister to the American Baptist Churches of Nebraska. It is my great joy and honor to be invited to participate in worship with Brewster Baptist Church on Sunday, July 7.

The sermon text for that Sunday will be from Luke 4:14-30 and is called “For the Oppressed and the Oppressor. ”

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
