Verse of the Day December 23

Our worship series this month is Fear Not, and the underlying idea is when we’re facing situations that might cause us to feel fearful or afraid, we can choose a different response.

We can choose to focus on hope, peace, joy, love, and the good news of great joy of Christ’s birth and all it represents. We continue this week with choosing Joy over Fear.

Today’s reading is 2 Corinthians 2:14-15, A Legacy of Joy with the song “Here We Come A-Caroling”.

But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads in every place the fragrance that comes from knowing him. For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.
