Verse of the Day December 8

Our worship series this month is Fear Not, and the underlying idea is when we’re facing situations that might cause us to feel fearful or afraid, we can choose a different response.

We can choose to focus on hope, peace, joy, love, and the good news of great joy of Christ’s birth and all it represents. We begin this week with choosing Hope over Fear.

Today’s reading is Romans 15:1-6, The Scriptures Give Us Hope.

The Verse of the Day is Romans 15:4,

For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, so that by steadfastness and by the encouragement of the scriptures we might have hope.
