Verse of the Day June 22

This week in honor of Father’s Day, members of our congregation will be sharing about fathers from the Bible.

Today’s reading is Luke 1:57-80, “Zechariah: Father of John the Baptist”

Luke 1:62-63 says

“Then they made signs to his father, to find out what he would like to name the child. He asked for a writing tablet, and to everyone’s astonishment he wrote, ‘His name is John.’”
