As we continue through March, Brewster Baptist Church is exploring the second half of our series, Who is Jesus and What Does He Offer? by looking at what Jesus says about himself in the Gospel of John and in the book of Revelation.

Each week we’ll focus on one of the “I Am” sayings of Jesus.

Jesus uses a number of powerful images to describe himself and what he offers to people.

This week we will be focusing on “I Am the Vine” from John 15 and God’s desire for a relationship with us.

Today’s reading is Isaiah 5:1-7, The Song of the Unfruitful Vineyard.

The Verse of the Day is Isaiah 5:7,

“For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, and the people of Judah are his pleasant planting; he expected justice, but saw bloodshed; righteousness, but heard a cry!”
