Human imagination has always been gripped by sea stories such as the legendary exploits of Odysseus on the wine-dark sea in Homer’s classic, The Odyssey or Moby Dick, The Perfect Storm, In the Heart of the Sea, The Finest Hours: The True Story of the U.S. Coast Guard’s Most Daring Sea Rescue… Paul was so gripped by a yearning to share God’s transforming love in Jesus Christ with other people that he was willing to put to sea, taking all the risks that involved in the days before the benefits of modern navigation and he went on a number of missionary voyages.
