Using the weekly sermon and questions provided by the preaching pastor as curriculum, we will study what happens with the disciples as they remain in Jerusalem as God prepares them to be witnesses to all that they have seen and heard in and through the life and work of Jesus.
In the interest of launching more new small groups at Brewster Baptist Church, we are trying something new.
We’d like to give people the opportunity to connect with people and decide if they’d like to continue as a group with those people.

To that end, we will be hosting this church-wide study in the Fellowship Hall on Wednesday evenings 6:30-7:30PM for six weeks.
There are a couple of advantages to this: it is less of a commitment on the part of leaders, in that they don’t have to prepare their homes as well as the study, we can offer childcare and thus encourage families to participate, and we can give people an opportunity to group around relationships and personal connection.
The basic idea is that we will open the Fellowship Hall, have table leaders at tables, and people can come and sit at whatever table they choose. We’ll encourage people to get to know one another and find a set of people they connect with.
We will offer people the flexibility week-to-week of who they sit with, but remind them that the intention is to find a group you connect with.
At the end of the six week study, our hope is that some groups will desire to continue to meet as a small group, and then we will guide them into those next stages.
We will be using the weekly sermon and questions provided by the preaching pastor as curriculum. All existing small groups are encouraged to participate in this study as well as the scriptures are centered around the journey of Jesus after his resurrection.
